The Mills, a revitalised cultural complex that pay homage to Hong Kong's golden
era in the textile industry, opens in January 2019. The HK$700 million heritage
project, including 2,400sqm (260,000sqf) L-shaped site, is a time capsule of
the glory days of Hong Kong's garment industry, a history intertwined with
the Nan Fung Group, which started a textile business in 1954.

A monolithic portrait by celebrated Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto (aka Vhils),
was carved and drilled directly onto the preserved facade of the former Nan
Fung Textiles. The complex is now home to business incubator The Mills Fabrica,
